Subaru Impreza MY04 JDM WRX STI 2003 V-Limited.
No' 417/555 built for the JDM (Japanese Domestic Market).
Released in Japan in 2004 to commemorate Petter Solbergs 2003 WRC title.
Very RARE car – This is 1 of only 3 of this model in the UK.
Taxed June 10.

JDM v-limited models do have the roof vent, my type r v-limited has one too.

Can you explain what are Subaru optional extras and what are "mods" above the standard car?
Mileage, when imported etc?

 

Only mods are the 4.5" Ninja exhaust and the white 18" ROTA GRA Wheels. Car is standard apart from that.

It was imported in October 2004 with around 6K on the clock and has full service history from then on.

Mileage is now 33800 and still being used so will change.

Optional extra's i'm not too sure about as I don't know much about the UK spec to compare it with. Its got air conditioning and the red dial (sweepcheck) which i dont think the UK cars come with.

OK, above base spec then just the exhaust and wheels....do you have the standard items that these replaced?
Is the Ninja system a CAT back?
When was it reg in Japan, 2004 sometime?
Any record of a cam belt change?
Are the clocks etc in miles or km?

Whats the best places to check for import insurance, Aplan, Adrian Flux, Greenlight???

I bought the car as is shown in the photos.
The exhaust is catback. It was registered in Japan in 2004, sorry I dont have the exact date. As far as i'm aware cam belt change is usually done around 45/50K miles. The clocks have been converted to Mph.
Insurance wise. I got an unbelievable deal with Aplan. Excellent customer service aswell. So would definately recommend speaking to their import department.

Cambelt should be 4 years on these (5 on uk cars), imported from new, sva prep done by Prosport on 2 of these cars (this being one of them), V5 should show date of ESVA on there anyway, so as Pete did the work it means its done to a high standard (no cut out bumpers etc as the fog will be in the rear cluster )
Service intervals are similar to those of the classics, 6 monthly/7.5k miles, whichever comes first.

Its a limited, they stick em on anything now you know (except hatch back Spec C's )

I just got out of Hospital after surgery, if this car is still about in about 4-6 weeks time, I'll be very interested in buying it..... fingers crossed... ( that's if its still up for sale)

Unless I'm mistaken it's been sold to a dealer who have thrown some black wheels on it and priced it up at twelve grand.
Could be wrong but with the amount off these particular models in the uk I very much doubt it.

 

Nope, theres a very spoilt 21 year old driving it around!
