just sourced an ej20gdw5pe(sti v2)engine. the **** i got it off said head gasket had gone and it slowly over heated wen up to optimum running temp,but was removed asap 2 avoid any engine damage etc... wen i took engine apart the gasket had gone(was original fibre type) but seemed to be a good spoon full or two of oil in both front bores and oil was visable on gasket aswell, could this be rings? or just where the head gaskets gone? please reply
