On the lookout from some more Scooby wisdom.

After a fun day at North Weald yesterday I discovered that my car has an occasional misfire at 6000 revs that seems to appear only when I accelerate aggressively (lots of boost) as opposed to progressively (not so much boost).

Does anyone have any ideas of what could be causing this?

Car came with a few performance enhancing mods and dyno sheets showing an increase of 16 horses but no evidence of a remap being done to it among the paperwork that came with it.

Trying to figure out whether it could be something that I can change (spark plugs, coils, etc.) or whether it's a remap job.

Also, (mea culpa, mea culpa) after giving it large around the cone circuit and cooling down overnight my lovely old lady is now vibrating like hell when I drive it at higher speeds which it never used to do before yesterday. Tyre pressure is fine and it's going straight like an arrow.

So I am wondering what is it that I broke? Clutch was still smelling when I locked the car in the garage but I didn't experience any of this on the way home making the most of an empty A414.
