53 plate wrx broke my gear box just after remmap to 340bhp/350lbs,what do i do get one from a scrap yard £500 or a recond one £750 or other options,cant afford sti one at the moment.any advice more than welcome.thanks alot guys.

 

Id buy the cheapest you kind find, really you need to go 6 speed or gear kit now......

A choice I had to make a few years back. Keep breaking cheap boxes and rely on a recovery truck, or spend the money once on something that can cope.

false economy putting 5 speed boxes in. drive her easy and save the £2.5k for a 6 speed sti item.
