Tuning a classic sport
Any ideas for tuning a sport? Id rather stay away from the put a turbo on it route or an engine swap. And some might say im wasting my time but im only 20yrs old and my insurance is already sky high!! So what you think? Ive already got induction kit and performance backbox.?
Thanks

Thats about all the cost effective mods you can do really. Anything else will be throwing money away for the sake of not even 10bhp.
Just hold back a few years, take it easy, and get something better.

cant agree more with joey turbo.
going down the engine swap route is VERY expensive. has you had the car remapped since fitting an induction kit? remember it directly affects the cars air/fuel ratio.

I would have to disagree. I modified my Impreza Sport with such things like suspension (springs and dampers), rear ARB, Full exhaust inc. Borla un-equal manifold, body parts, Brakes front and rear. All the changes that I made totally transformed the car. Ok so it was not that much faster, but I could carry more speed on the bends.
Yea i would go for hot hatch but ive waited so long for a scoob. I might go down the weight reduction route. Read a good article in redline magazine about unsprung weight. And as for borla. I cant afford actual borla but i see loads of sports with replicas but i cant find them.

hi guys,i personally think that a induction kit is a gimic unless your like putting a huge single turbo on so the money you have wasted on a induction aint giving more bhp its jst sucking up warm air unless you have the induction out of the front bumper then the performance would increase
which many scooby people dont do
many thankz
