Hi all

I have a brand new cam belt which was going to be fit on an impreza sti v3 , its never been used but now i want to fit it to a v5 sti, is that safe and sound, i dont mean to sound stupid i just ont want to blow anything up so thought i woul ask first, the reason why i am doubting myself is because a mechanic near where i live has told me this
