Question

A friend of mine has bought a 1992 (J Reg) Porsche 911 (non-turbo) and was wanting to 'compare' power (on the road).

The figures for 0-60mph see similar but the Porsche seems to have better 0-100mph figures.

My car is MY00 UK standard, with (turbo back) de-catted 3" Bore Mongoose system.

Any ideas how my scoob will 'compare' to the Porsche?

Also what mods can be done with a £1500 budget to ensure victory?

All help appreciated.

Bob.

Hey, don't you love being all grown up and responible We don't race on the roads, we 'compare' power

I would have thought the EcuTek offerings would do just what you're after. They seem to be getting 260+ bhp for around 600 pounds.

Due to the midrange torque of a turbo car, normally it will be faster than a non turbo car of the same power (and weight)

Don't forget to make sure there are a few wet roundabouts on your comparison route

if you don't run on a highway you'll surely win.
i broke a 911 996 till 180 km/h (mine MY '98 decat exhaust system, K&N filter 99 oct fuel) after this limit comes the Porsche's power and aerodynamic but if you run a monutain road...well no story there! two corners and he's done!!!!!
