Hi mate
Heard a lot of bad things regarding the flex up pipe, they can split and leak
Also being 3" with a very small diameter back box it will be very loud!!!!! but I see it comes with a baffle so this might help to keep the neighbour happy

What scoob you got ?
With only £200 you are going to struggle to get a new sports cat, You might be able to get a used decat tho, or have a look at UK exhaust (Cobra) their good and cheap.

Yes you have a cat in the up pipe to! so doing all three would be your best bet performance wise
Fuel pump is only precaution but might as well do it as its only cheap.
It all depends on what sort of power your chasing ? As the prodrive pack only includes a sports cat back box and remap for about 260-270 bhp I think

im looking to get around 270-290

so i would need to replace the up pipe and 2 cats after the turbo

can i keep the rest standard at 2.5 inch to save some costs

i already have a backbox

or would i achieve this bhp by replacing only the 2 cats after turbo ?

thanks guys for your help

The cat in the downpipe is the most restrictive. This is the one, when decatted, that has the most influence re. liberating the bhp. I think you can still achieve the figures with just a decat d/p, leaving the uppipe and second post-turbo cat (the one after the d/p's one).

That said, it's a good idea to also fit a decat uppipe - not only for performance reasons - but, getting rid of that cat means that if it were to break up due to old age, etc., then its debris won't be present to go through the turbo....!!!

It looks OK but its only a short one piece so you would still have to get another section if you wanted to take out both cats. Have a look in the trader section and go into the (Cobra link) they are doing a one piece that replaces BOTH cats for £125 which is a very good price.

Will the up-pipe from a classic fit the op's?

If so Ive got a SS one somewhere at my Dads garage (but does have a flexi on it). You can have it for the cost of postage if I can find it and is of any use.
