i put my car in the garage a few weeks ago and went away on exercise(army thing). i was having my gear box oil changed i returned yesterday and recived a phone call,saying when he was putting the new oil in it apeared to be coming out of the drive shaft is german and its a little hard to understand him.but it was not leaking when i put it in.hes using mobil 75/90

 

i am going to go down today so i can have a look for myself so i can get a better idea of whats up

 

Easy fix if it is only a seal tenner tops for the part.

 

what seal is it, so i can get it ordered or is it the same as the later models as you have not a hope in hell of getting early jap import parts in germany. ill have to order it on line and take it to him

Does seem strange its only just started though, you sure they just havnt spilt any when filling and its run down the box to that area?????? It would be my first thought.

 

it was because he was trying to put 75/140 in it hmmm. he was educated tho
