Hey guys.
I have a full Heywood and Scott exhaust system on my 99 UK turbo at the mo, problem is I need a cat in the downpipe to make MOTs easier
, as my usual places for MOT are no longer trading.
As I also need to replace my original shocks and springs, as well as get a basic service and MOT I was thinking of going to Scooby Clinic.
How do you guys rate there exhaust systems? particularly their down pipes? I dont have the money for anther Heywood and Scott replacement so if you guys rate Scooby Clinics then I'll have one of theirs put on. Guessing they must be good as the place is so highly recommended, its just the price is so much cheaper
.
Cheers for any input.

Just get a centre cat mate, it will pass the test with just that back on, plus its a hell of alot easier to swap than a downpipe.
If you do decide to replace the d/pipe with a catted one then I think I have one knocking about that you can have, just pay the postage unless your anywhere near South Yorkshire
H&S is a high quality exhaust, why replace it with a cheaper one??

I cant afford 500 odd for a heywood downpie as Ineed new shocks and springs too.
Allso I've been told by a trusted garage that a centre cat is less likely to pass? cant afford not to pass as tax is up and knowing my luck I'll get stoped on the way home...then agn if I do go to scooby clinic I guess they'll sort me out good.
Where abouts in Yorkshire are you? if u dont mind me asking, my girlfriend comes from there. Iknow Ponty, Caslford, Wakefield and some bits in between .
Cheers for the reply and the offer of the downpipe may take you up on it.
