Hi All

A guy over on the Type-RA forum wanted me to ask for your knowledge on this 2.5 block. Its going on a V4 Type-R.

He's been told its an 2008 STI block.

Is the 08 sti block "open" or "closed" deck? Is this block open or closed?

Its been built back up, but the guy is worried that he may be getting a WRX block or some older block and is gonna get ripped off.

Any help would be great

Its already been put together and he is buying it as a built block, but i and he fear he is going to be ripped off.

If this was built to sti spec (pistons, rods,crank and all the other bits) Would it be worth having? He Isnt interested in massive power.

But then i suppose he has to consider he has already been lied to
