You'd have had an even worse night if you'd bought the proper Becks!!!!

Drink this stuff when I am on-call - rarely more than 2 or three in an evening, I quite like it.

I had the same problem with a crate of Cobra.

Took a while to notice something wasn't right

Remember this is a nation of Stella/Carling drinkers; both the crappest yet biggest selling lagers on the market.

(yet I still drink it, as its impossible to get hold of La Trappe at a competitive price )

hey c'mon the proper imported bottled Stella (you have to read the label to make sure it is brewed in Leuven - not the sh1te that is Brewed in the UK under license-- that is rubbish) is a lovely beer

also never buy beer in cans fullstop,

proper imported stuff - note you cannot see the top as the paper covers the lid

We'll I only got back from Belgium on Saturday.
Belgian beer is lovely albeit quite strong (some bottles at 10.5%).

Myself and a colleague were taken out on Thursday night for dinner/drinks.
We were in 16 or 17 different bars and had a beer in every one.
I got to bed at 1am, had to get up at 6.30am which I did and not a hangover in sight presumably because the beer is more pure compared to the shyte we have here.

I picked up a pack of that Becks blue in asda a few weeks ago. It was only at the counter I realised it was none alcoholic.

Ended up going back & replacing it with a pack of Tuborg

Precisely – imagine how I felt, seeing the Alcohol Free label after I had arrived home

why this isn't made clearer -- with a public information film/TV advertising, or at the very least a big red WARNING sign above the Beers Wines and fvcking Spirits isle, is quite frankly beyond me.

I mean it is the 21st fvcking century

rant over -- and i'm off to the anti immigration threads to calm down
