Default Engine not coming to life properly

Hello and guidance please

On start up 1. The car turns over normally but the engine struggles to fire up.
2. The car turns for longer than normal then struggles to fire up.

Any ideas?

Car was serviced at a Subaru Dealership in February and only done 4000 miles since. She's a 2002 bugeye wrx

Thankyou

what fuel do you use? im in the process of sorting a simular issue on my classic and ive jyst switched from tesco 99 ron to v-power. v power so far has fixed the problem.
it would struggle to kick into life for about 2 seconds from a cold start, with a really low idle.

Thanks for the reply.
I'm using Sainsburys super at the mo. I'll get some v-power on the way home.

Any chance of some more information here? Are you saying this has started happening all of a sudden, has been happening since the service, has been gradually getting worse, what?

Once started does the car run properly?

If the issue only happens on sainburys fuel, aren't you answering your own question! If it's ok on v power then it's a fair bet it's not the car
