Default tein super street settings

Hi there

Anybody out there running super streets and super happy with them...

With the mixed roads out here in spain it´s proving very difficult to get a good base setting, i´m on 8 out of 12 clicks all round at the moment which has resulted in some scary moments when the surface changes from anything other than smooth, but its like its on rails so precise. Not sure what to do

Any ideas?

I have them. The settings should run from 0-16, not 12! 0 being the hardest and 16 the softest.

You need to set the front dampers harder than the rear.

Try the following settings:

Front 10 Rear 16 (softer setting)

Front 8 Rear 12. (for when the roads are smooth and you want to press on)

They do make the car feel like it's on rails, but there is a price to pay in terms of ride comfort.

Best,

Oh yes, had them on for a year now. Always been seriously impressed with the control they afford. They do make the car feel like its on rails. Quality is also a1; no knocks squeaks and rattles that seem to afflict some coilovers. Also whilst the ride is undeniably very firm when you crank the dampers up; it's not nearly as harsh as some coil over suspended cars I've been in!

As it happens though, I'm selling mine as I simply don't use the car in scenarios (i.e. track) where they would really come into their own so they're a bit overkill for me.

LOL I was one of their strongest advocates yes!
It's a very impressive set up, I maintain that. The simple truth is I've not had the chance to get the car on the track as I'd have liked too and this set up is a bit overkill for my needs, so I'd prefer to see them go to someone who'll use em!

I'm going for something softer (getting old, lol) minus the adjustability (since I have no immediate plans to indulge in track work). Gonna give Eibach Pro S coilovers a go.

Will report back when they're on the car. They'll have a tough act to following in terms of handling with the Tein's though; they really do make the car feel alert and on rails.
