Will 18's work on a classic with coilovers?
I may have this in the wrong section, so apologies.
Suspension wise, I have spent a bit of time on my car (which is a 98 WR)- it has:
BC's
Anti lift kit
Hard C links at the rear
Polybushed all round
Thats a short list, but a fair wack of cash when installed!
I currently run 17'' wheels, but have been made a great offer on a few sets of 18's. Question is, for people who have tried, is the larger wheel going to be too much on a classic even with the above?
I am running 40 profile tyres at the moment which I guess will be similar on the 18's, and was hoping the new coilovers would be enough to handle any weight increase- what do you reckon?

Do you guys use your cars on track days or comps? That not supposed to be a nobby question, just trying to understand if its pure road use or not
Im trying to understand on the limit handling as use it for our local hill climb.
Im running 215's at the moment, but previously had a little rubbing, which Im not sure isnt just due to the WR pack putting 7.5 wheels all round as much as anything.
