Can someone explain why we have no pace up front?

Is there anyone on here who can tell me why he shouldn't start in front of Rooney?

Crouch start ahead of Rooney? Are you mad? The Papers would NEVER allow it Rooney is a God walking the earth, didn't you know?

 

In simple terms, Rooney is better. You only have to look at the opposition Crouch has scored against to see why he's scored as many as he has, what about starting in front of Heskey if thats your theory. Look at the stats for the qualifying, Rooney 9 goals and 5 (i think) assists in 9 games. Would you honestly have Crouch in your team ahead of Rooney

IMV i think crouch is a better finisher than rooney. In the same league they play, who will finish with more goals?
Rooney will play more games for sure. I reckon he'll score twenty this season.
How many Crouch? against the same opposition too.
If crouch started as many games in this league as rooney i think he'd end up with more goals. as he is a better finisher and plays further up the pitch.

I'm not a rooney hater he is class there is no doubt. i just think there is a better balance with crouch in the team. as for heskey he's rubbish end of.
Kevin davies is english and a better target man, defender and finisher than emile, why doesn't he play?

 

If Crouch was as good as you think then he would start more games. My point about Heskey was that you should be making an argument about who should play out of those two before moving on to Rooney, but then its not always who scores the most is the better player
