Anti lift kit and coilovers?
a misnomer if ever there was one but the ALK gives approx 1/2 degree extra castor?
Surely with adjustable top mounts on coilovers you can adjust to this an beyond, thereby making the ALK a big gold coloured redundant ornament?

Not quite, in my opinion. The PU bush fitted to most anti lift kits reduces caster loss under load significantly compared to the standard bush. The reduction of stiction in the front suspension is a welcome addition too. The change in anti-geometry creates some extra front grip as well. Together with the idea that the Impreza needs a minimum of 6 degrees caster, the extra static caster provided by the ALK is surely needed to get to the minimum desireable amount.
So, I still fit them to Imprezas and show a healthy increase in cornering G....... But there are some brands of ALK that don't measure right and don't provide a proper outcome.

Ive got to say Id spend the money from the ALK on poly bushes for front arms and rear trailing arms(and still have change) IMHO,
as you have said your fitting coilovers so ur going to lower the car anyway and once tracked up correctly i think the bushes over the front and rear will be better then the ALK.

I've got the whiteline ALK on my chassis at the moment and I'm going to be transferring all the parts over to a different car soon.
I am seriously toying with the idea of poly bushing throughout and the ALK will fund a fair bit of that cost.
cheers
