To be fair I'm a season ticket holder and done hundreds of laps.

I left my Impreza at home as me and mate went halves on the MX5 as a track car. I was giving it a pre-modifications run round the track. If it's any consolation I also passed an Evo 8 and a new Focus RS

Yup, That was us. That's one frightening track to drive, Especially when you've got a nutter screaming past you in an MX5 It was even worse driving it in the wet on Tuesday.

It's a different track in the wet and requires some different lines. On the plus side none or very little motorcyclists. 2 bikers sadly died within 4 days this weekend, the same as the whole of last year.

That was my 150something lap of this year

I know a few photographers so will have a look although few do midweek touristenfahrten, mainly just weekends so Sunday would be the most likely day you were photographed.

Let me know the details of the other Impreza, I could only remember the one in the thread title because of the distinctive plate.

Here is a few places to look. If you were out and about on Sunday, there might be a picture of you in this lot:

150ish!!!! Wow!!!! You certainly looked as though you knew the track like the back of your hand!

Me and my mate were in the two cars below if its any help... just after a piccy, i think most photographers had gone home due to the closures on the Sunday and we only got out after 6pm

The track closed at 3ish for a couple of hours for an accident at Kallenhardt. The biker sadly died

I do a couple of hundred laps a year. I'm back out in 2 weeks

Brilliant! I'd seen those earlier today while trawling the photo sites, thought that may have been you!

I remember quite distinctly you coming past me, you gave me a bit of space, unlike some of the others out there....

You kept out my way too allowing me to stay on line more or less and therefore pretty much flat out. Any break in momentum in the MX5 and all pace is lost.

cool, pleased to hear it. Thats one thing i dont have a problem with in the scoob, building up momentum very quickly, but when you dont know the track its fairly useless!

Other drivers, particularly porsches decided it was good to come within 10cm of my front wing Scary stuff on your first lap!

I did miss my Impreza's 330bhp/330lbft, ASTs, 888's, Brembos with PF discs and pads but didn't miss the 5 laps to a tank.

Looks like Wehrseifen, were the photographs taken from right behind the armco? Jochen (Frozenspeed) takes some nice ones in a similar position but facing the other way so you get a side/rear shot of the car.

Yea think it's there, right behind the armco. Got some good side shots also. Time where you on track? Might have some of you in maxda, will have a look for you.

Saxo FTW
