Default WAN emulator

Hi I have used Wan emulators at work we used Network Nightmare and i built a appliance on a free BSD platform was a pain in the butt but useful as we used it to simulate packet loss and latency when using a riverbed WAN optimiser and our load balencers based on a test between the UK and Australia

Wow that's nice a neat little tool. I've tried it this morning. It certainly works. I was browsing another PC on the LAN and playing with different profiles. The ISDN 128k profile was painfully slow, and I could experiment with ADSL profiles plus custom bandwidths.

I'm always asked to say how a certain IT function will perform over our WAN and this tool should enable me to test it first.

Cheers for the heads-up.
