Decent 2 Player xbox 360 Co-op Games
Like to play xbox360 co-op games with the wife.
Particularly like the Halo series although the last one was a disappointment.
Looking for some new or old games in the same vein.
Any suggestions?

Resident Evil 5 is a cracking game, finished it about 4 times now, still need the achievement for upgrading all weapons, so maybe time to play through again
Gears 1+2 is always a winner, busy playing through gears 1 for about the 6th time, only this time the PC version, i am up to the brumak bit that was cut from the 360 version
Graw 2, i got this years ago, and for some reason never got past the training missions, i picked it up again last month for whatever reason and fell in love with it
i picked up a second hand "legacy edition" version that comes with every single bit of DLC on a second disc, loads of people still online, quite impressed with how many people are still playing it to be honest, iirc you can do 4 player splitscreen ?

I thought both Gears of War games were overrated, I never really got into either as a one or two player game.
The co-op one i've enjoyed most so far is Army of Two, vastly underrated and now only £8 new at HMV (or at least it was last time I was there). I must have played it though 4/5 times now. Shame there's not many people out there on Live with it though.

You get trophies and experience points for co-op too.
Offline co-op is ok considering it's split screen.
