Default Visat "Set Associations" strange issue

I have the full Office 2007 installed with publisher

On my log in the pub. files open in Publisher no problem, but in my wifes log in the Association is currently set to Windows picture viewer, no problem I'll change the association in her sign on.

So i go to set association and it currently offers me adobe and wordpad and Picture viewer, so click on browse and a list of programme folders appear and I click on MS office expecting to see all the component appear but all I get is Open 12 folder, click on that and another folder appears as 1033 click on that then a blank

What am I doing wrong ? she can use Publisher normally by clicking on the programme

I'm a bit baffled

Any ideas guys ??

Oh and a dumb as question while I'm here, how do I change the function of the keyboard, example My @ button when clicked always gives me a " and vice versa, Aussie keyboard and British PC,

Cheers

Are you running 64bit? On there it should be something like:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office12\MSPUB.EXE

Hi HHxx

Many Thanks

You're a star, all sorted on the Publisher front and my with thinks I'm a genius

No joy with the keyboard though, moved the Aus EN to the top but still iffy, spose we can live with it

No problem

On the KB part. Above where you moved the keyboard services to the top. Did you change the drop down list above for default input language? You may need to restart the application you are using before it recognises the keyboard change.

One more thing, I don't know if this applies to your setup, you might want to disable keyboard/language switching in the Advanced Key Settings.

I have another language/kb installed and switching mid game unintentionally had some unusual effects!
