For years I have listened to IT analysts witter on about why Google has such a lead in search, over competitors like MSN, yahoo and the joke that is ASK

To me it’s was always been so simple to explain – just go to google.com, then to msn.com etc etc – there notice a difference, not hard is it.

The Google page, has pretty much, remained unchanged for the last 15 years – totally focused to search -- simple clean efficient, does what it says on the tin sort of product

The others – what a fvcking mess, more like media portals than search engines

But at least with bing.com they seem to have finally realised that when most people want to search, they don’t need to see a link to a video promising to show Brittany Spears’s ******

yes -- but it is a start -- and history tells us that Google, in an attempt to leverage even more revenue from their golden egg will dilute it's focus by tacking more crap onto it

leaving the way for another company to just provide a simple search engine
