I purchased one today to use with my 3g Iphone and set it up via bletooth and rds to my Alipne head unit...

The sound of music when playing is 1st class until the music is quiet then I start to hear a hissing noise/white noise etc... When using the unit as handsfree it's even worse, I hear the caller clearly but there is lots of hash noise in the call, is this normal or have I got a faulty unit?

I have tried different fm frequencies and still get the same effect...

The unit is very good at streaming a2dp from the phone to rds radio but is not as clear as I thought it would be on the phone calls...The person on the other end of the call can't hear the hash noise...
