Anybody tried the demo?

This is really quite good!

I was quite impressed with the demo, and when it finished i shouted "NOOOOOO DONT STOP IT NOW"

The missus was going out this afternoon and after watching me play, had planned to suprise me by bringing a copy home, only the nice man in the shop told her its not due out until the 28th

 

Played the demo over the weekend on PS3 - very very good indeed, pre-ordered from play.com, cant wait!

The detective mode & the grapple hook were especially cool

 

I just loved sitting on top of the gargoyles and watching them all walk about underneath me

 

It's my birthday on the 28th and I've dropped enough hints to the wife!

I bet she gets me socks!

Xbox360 version running slightly faster than the over-hyped PS3 again. Just like id's new game, RAGE, running on their new id Tech 5 engine!

Why is it 16 rated?

 

Got my PS3 copy for just over £22.44 yesterday

Not played it yet though, still sat on my desk

 

It's a 15 from the BBFC (for what it's worth at the moment ) - quoting strong violence and moderate horror.

 

Played the demo on the PS3 and it really is a cool game, I enjoyed swinging around in the roof n just dropping down on people n stringing them up..... will defo be getting the full game

 

One more day to go for me.

i'm halfway through it and its still good, slighlty repetive but still good

 

Its not another assasins creed is it - 1st level was great then every other level was just the damn same

I was not buying it, the missus was! she tried to buy it for me the other week before the release date although she seams to have now forgotten about it

I logged into XBL last night and a mate was playing it and i twigged on that it was out.

Operation "hintdrop" will commence tonight

I wouldn't care but around 1 hour earlier me and her were chilling and playing Peggle, the first thing i usually do, is check the friends list to see who is playing what, and nobody was playing it

Operation "Hintdrop" went as planned

I walked in last night after work and saw the missus

"ohh have you been out somewhere today?"
"Yeah i went to the gym"

"did you buy me the batman game like you promised?"
"no"

 

i picked this up yesterday but haven't had time to play it yet. really enjoyed the demo though. only thing i don't understand is it would've been good to have robin as your sidekick that way you could have co-op aswell. still bet its going to be a belter of a game though

 

Does it have any multiplayer?

A mate told me yesterday that the campaign is not very long, i tried to do a quick search this morning to find out how long it is, but could not find anything.

I have a few games kicking about that i can trade in (saying as the missus seams to have forgotten to buy it as planned ), i just need to get my **** in gear and fully finish them off

 

I've read there's about 12 hours of gameplay. No multiplayer though.

 

Having played the demo I am looking forward to actually playing the game, just hope it lives up to the demo.

I've played it for around 2 hours now, really impressed with it, the gfx are superb & the gameplay is very good if a little repetitive. The voice acting is probably one of my favourite bits. Definitly worth a purchase.

 

They needed to splash the cash to get the actor from the animated series to do Batmans voice though. He's a little wooden.
Mark Hammil is excellent though (just like he was in the animated series)

Very addicitive I've done the story mode and am in the process of finding the last riddler trophies. Superb game
