Ordered a few things, memory sticks were not the correct type as the website had an error, sent them back and was given a refund, the motherboard was fine.

bought from them hundreds of time as the've been around since the early 90's.

they had a revamp about 18 months ago and since then customer service is great and ordering a doddle. They also keep you informed on your order progress

Search around on a few forums - like AVforums for example - as Scan do a promo for forum members which gives you free delivery on every order. For the sake of registering on a forum and making a post or five, it's worth it...

Would heartily recommend them, especially with free delivery!

use them often as they are localish. must do well as they arent open on sundays where as a lot of them are. I find ordering from the web though means a slow delivey of usually 2 days. Luckily i live 10 mins away so use the counter collect service, either way they are recommended.

My second choice after OcUK (which I know some people here don't like). They're fine.

overclockers and scan are great for ordering... until you need to return stuff.

Then you just use Scan

I've ordered £000s from them and returns are always dealt with quickly - and they pick up RMAs too

Have OverClockers got any better in regards to RMA's?

That was the only problem with OC for me. Perfect in ordering & delivering. I had a cpu that was faulty, took a couple of months before I got a replacement! This was in the days when the P4 came out, so a long time ago

The main ones I use for components are:
Scan, OC & LambdaTek. Not in any order. Have found LamdaTek to be good, sometimes a lot cheaper and have a lot more variety.

Oh yeah, Wireless Router, ADSL Router/Modem, Broadband/Cable Router, VoIP, NAS | Broadbandbuyer.co.uk is very good as well

Scan are just up the road from me also well a 25 min drive but never any issues, a very professional outfit, the guy who runs the place has been doing this for 15+ years, probalby the best place to order your components from, especially memory as they are a fair bit cheaper than their competitors in this area
Keep an eye out on the daily offers, picked up a very nice acer 24 inch HD screen for 150 quid when everyone else was doing it for another 30+

As above, have built many PC in the past, and I check both these two for prices before buying, both of them are very good.
