Question Registry problem with Mobile Broadband

OK - my Vodafone mobile broadband was corrupted in some and in the process of trying to clean it up it would seem that I have corrupted the registry for it.

I have uninstalled and even downloaded a new version of the software and updated the dongle (E220) and it still will not install. It goes through all the motions and then announces it is installed but won't start.

If I go to the Vodafone program folders and try and start it from there the little Window opens for a second but is clearly corrupted in some way.

Is there anything I can do or am I totally screwed and have to get a completely different installation and abandon my Vodafone dongle

(The latter is no great hardship as I can probably get a better deal now!).

Too late!

I was badly advised on how easy it would be to fix with Regedit
