Default buying a laptop tomorrow please help

It 's was birthday and i want to buy a laptop i have been looking all day and keep changing my mind. I want to spend no more than £400 and i would prefer to spend less.

I will use it a lot in my car and round the house. I would like it to run windows 7 or come with the free upgrade.

I would ideally like 4gb ram dual core processor.

I would like a hdmi port but would i really use it. Also i would like the idea of blueray but i dont think i would really use it.

I saw a couple of laptops for about £400 that had all of this. Then i thought would it be worth me just buying a refub dell inspiron 1545 for £300.

What would you recommend for me. I will not be playing many games on it.

I've only really had (passing) experience with the Acer stuff - quite like it.

The Acer's a slightly bigger screen, and bigger HD.

Don't know much about the Turion processor, but the HP 550 is an Intel Core 2 duo.

They're all pretty much of a muchness to be honest

Personal preference imho, unless the PC geeks raise the alarm over one of em!!
