Default STI WRX Type R DCCD Gearbox Swap TY752VB5CA

I am thinking for a swap to a STI WRX Type R DCCD Gearbox Swap for my MY98 impreza.
I have found the gearbox (TY752VB5CA) plus R180 LSD rear diff, shafts and Type R rear hubs. What else needs to make the swap?

Does your current car have ABS? If so, u will loose it as there is no pickups for the ABS in the Type R hubs. From what you have said though, that should be all you need i think.

DCCD Controller/ECU, without this your diff will be in permenant Fully Open mode.

You can also get aftermarket such as the Neetronics or DCCD pro Controller.

Thank's for helping me,
i have close the abs unit so no problem with that.
I will try to find a DCCD ECU also. How much power do you think can this gearbox handle?

It all really depends on who you talk to. If you do a search on here most people say that the TY752 gearboxes are the weakest as they lack the stronger case of the later TY754. I've been though 3 TY752's but the TY754 box i'm currently running has been fine so far. Car is running 320bhp.

If the Type R hubs had 2 pot calipers you will need them too as the bolt hole are not the same as the single pot calipers.
