Default Sports cat-yes or no?

Hi, i have the chance to fit a sports cat as opposed to the decat i have. I'm soon to get a remap for the fmic and induction kit, so now's the time to change it.
It's a Magnex system.
Will i loose much power over the decat(cheap ebay job)? I'll be running 1.5bar, at 340/330 ish.

Thanks, Mit

maybe lose 2bhp depends on the sports cat...if its 100 cell be much better and around 2bhp if its 200 cell maybe bit more..plumb for a 100 cell.

It is a 100 cell, so not much power to loose then? Would be easyer for the mot than switching to the cat every time!

much easier..depends on the cat mate..100 cell should go through mot fine so long as left to 2 warm up proper before emissions test.
wouldnt have to be mucking about switching them over. just make sure that car all set up right and that. think one of the best ones without going mega bux is the ninja 100 cell on scooby world at 295..they show pic of mot pass with it on...one of my mates said that it was 100% pass rate on uk turbos with that sport cat..with a 200 be not be as borderline to pass mot but lose more powerso that wouldnt be good lol

Just be aware, that even Scoobyworld do NOT guarantee the CAT. So, although it should be passing MOT's, if it does not, you have NO comeback. This is from me speaking to them personally this year on the subject.
Also, this goes for any of the CAT pipes from anywhere and is NO slight against Scoobyworld. None of them will guarantee the CAT's.
Quote from Scoobyworld:-
".......On some versions of non-official UK Imprezas' or tuned UK Imprezas' you may need your standard centre cat also in place to pass MOT emission testing,"

I have a ppp 100cel sportcat on my uk 03 wrx and it passed easily, I did prewarn the tester but he said no problems at all. He did no special warm up or anything, just tested it. In fact it gave a lower CO reading than when I had my uppipe cat and standard downpipe the previous year.
