hi when i have the car in gear i can move the stick alot from side to side. it was fine before i came back from devon but i was running late got some speed and after that speed there was alot of play any help would be great as the subaru specialist carnt help me on this one ? is a 1998 terzo thanks

 

first thing to do would be check the bushes where the knuckle is on the gearbox rod/linkage
