Is this a DIY job? Don't need to uprate it, so what sort of cost for the parts, how long will it take and any tips (cannot find any info on how to do it).....any help would be much appreciated. Am being quoted £700+ fitted from dealers...is this right?

Subaru dealers quote you on approx. 5 hours labour i'm told.
DIY, a friend of mine replaced a clutch, with no prior experience of Imprezas, in 3.5 hours.
Take what you like from that

Wink

i got hold of an AP clutch for mine. my subaru dealer quoted £155 + vat for fitting. said it was 4.5 hr labour.
trouble is they were fully booked for two weeks so did it myself.
if you take your time, youll still do it in a day. just drop the gearbox....but warning, it is heavy and bulky!
