Exclamation Water loss - How much?

Hi guys!

Just a quick question before I worry myself too death!

I have a MY00 Turbo 2000 and just wanted to check something about water levels...

Checked the water level and noticed it was a little low. It took 450ml to take it back up to the F line on the filler near the battery... I haven't checked the water for approx 4-5 months before today. Would this sort of loss be considered normal?

There are no signs of HG problems eg. Mayo on dipstick, in expansion tank, on oil filler cap.

Please someone!!

As long as your header tank level is fine I wouldn't worry. The plastic bottle is more of an expansion tank, and is not under pressure so a little evaporation wouldn't worry me personally, especially with no other problems

450ml over 4 to 5 months fine to excellent. Just remember to top up with antifreeze mix or you will eventually dilute the mixture if you top up with just water.

50:50 is what I use but I am sure that others will be along soon to give their own opinions
