Default Test Connectors help

My car is having starting problems so went to check the fault codes. But when i found the connectors the two blacks were already joined!

Here are afew photos of what i have.

You can see that the two blacks are joined together, i also have the two green connectors, a single yellow and a single 2 pin black. There is also two wires with crimp terminals, what are these?

Joining the two greens does a check on the car, clicking relays / fans etc.

Anyone have any ideas how to read the codes? And to explain why the blacks are already joined?

cheers, Dave

No check engine light.

The black connectors were already joined when i looked for them.

Any ideas as to why and how i can check the fault codes?

cheers, Dave
