Have a 2005 55 plate STI with a ppp fitted and prodrive claim 301BHP but would like it faster , Can anyone suggest what can be done to bring the BHP upto around 330 to 350 ?

 

a remap by JGM would get u very close

 

i am in the exact same position, got used to the claimed 301bhp, would a new remap feel much different over the prodrive remap.

 

I have same car MY04 STi with PPP - Decatted mine, free flow panel filter & had a remap. Now on 350bhp/350ft/lb. Getting 280-300miles out of a full tank (was getting max of 220-240) and plenty of pops & banngs ;-)

 

If yours is the 2.5ltr block, then you probably do even better with a remap. Car goes like stink now, and getting better mpg, which is always a bonus!

 

cheers for your experience, i was looking for more power, wasnt aware u could get better economy as well, lol. what remap did u go for?
