Default Any special tools for clutch swap ???

On a classic,if i were to do the job myself on the driveway,aligning tool or anything ???

or is it straight forward enough, drop the prop,gearbox off and change the clutch etc ???

most clutch kits seem to come with plastic alignment tools now days

Not as straight forward as it seems, especially on the driveway. You missed 2 things
1. removing the exhaust system (or at least letting the back box down and swing to the right for clearance)
2. disconnecting the front driveshafts which involves disconnecting the bottom of the front struts from the swinging arms. Also recommend hiring a transmision jack as the box is HEAVY.

I would suggest hoiking out the engine as a quicker, easier and safer option of getting at the clutch, although you will need an engine hoist.

Don't forget that the clutch is an unusual pull design which means you must remove the clutch arm pin or you will never get the box off, not without damaging something anyway.

yeah,realising its not as easy on the driveway thatn 1st thought, with all the cost of the bits, it only works out at about £250 for the actual fitment of the clutch from the likes of API etc
