Hi,

Can anyone tell me how to wire a rear fog light bulb into my STI rears.

The car is an Import so didnt come with a rear fog. I have bought a Fog Switch and a rear bulb, just need to know else I need ??? and how to do it???... or are theres HOW-TO's out there?

... anyone have any ideas?... the fog should only be able to come on when the headlights are switched on.

It 'should' only come on when the headlights are on. Mine doesn't. It's a separate switch that just turns the rear fog on when flipped, regardless of any other lights on. It's passed 2 MOTs like it so I'm not fussed at the moment.

I've been up to an autoelectician before and it can be a pain to wire it in to the wiring loom to come on with front fogs too.

So the solution in my mind, if I need to alter to come on with head lights, is to simply move the wiring for the rear fog to be connected to the dimmer circuit behind the stereo. That circuit is only live when the lights are on, so hopefully would do.

... couldn't get the rear fog to come on when the ONLY the headlights are on..... but it ONLY comes on if the sidelights or headlights are on... hope it will do!
