Just wondering where to get a nice looking rear fog light to get an import through an MOT. Im not mad for bolting a crappy Halfords square one onto the back.
Thanks

Rewire one reversing light as a fog light, then do one of two things, either use the red sticky tape you get at Halfords for repairing rear light lenses & put this on the inside or outside of the reversing light to turn the clear plastic red or, as I did spray a bulb red, not fantastic as the paint will slowly either burn to a brown colour or flake off but will hopefully last long enough to pass the test, it did for me. I was going to research if red bulbs are available but have not done so yet, their are several cars on the market with clear lenses for rear & indicator lights, I have seen the orange bulbs so red may be available somewhere

Richie..
Why don't you mount one in the current cluster.
I removed my old bolted on fog light and fitted a replacement by using a indicator bulb holder from a Ford Sierra.

Drill a 27mm hole in one of the spare pods and with a bit of filing fit the buld holder shown and wire in.

Simple as that, with the right tools it will take you mins tops...
Any queries drop me an Email
O.M.
P.S. you can get the buld holder form Graham Goode but they'll charge you 12Q quid for it, go to your local motor factors.

I'm getting some clear/red Sti rear clusters soon and I was bothered about the fog light situation.
Graham Goode racing do a fog light holder and foglight to u can convert to UK spec......all you have to do is house the fog light and holder in the reversing light section......well this is what graham goode racing and Scoobymania said anyway!
Let me know what u do!

Scooby Manchester...
What I did is the same as what Graham Goode & Scoobymania are saying, but you can't mount it in the Reversing pod as you'd have to color the lense or bulb.
I went for the upper outside pod on the cluster and it already has the red lense. The part from Graham Goode will cost you around £12 as mentioned earlier in the post, all they do is supply you with an Indicator Bulb holder for a Ford Sierra..
Save your dosh and go to a local car shop and they'll get you one or a trip to the local scrap yard and maybe 50p later you've got what you want.
