Default Help needed on Sat 16th May

I have a problem that I hope a fellow scoobynet member can resolve for me. I am the best man at a wedding in Cwmparc in the Rhondda on the 16th May and the plan was for me to take the groom in my Scoob. He loves Impreza's and was really looking forward to turning up at the church in my newage scoob, "BUT", last night I hit a deer at around 60mph and the car is now no longer in a good enough condition for me to make the journey down to South Wales in let alone turn up at the wedding with the groom in.

Due to this I would like to ask if there is anyone who has a nice newage scoob that would be able to help us out and "take us to the church on time" on the afternoon of the 16th May? It is a Saturday afternoon and we would only need to be transported from his address in Cwmparc to the local church. I would be happy to cover the cost of your time/fuel.

Reply or PM me if you can help,

Cheers .......Tommy

Off the wall suggestion but try a local dealer and see if they will let you take one for a test drive for an hour. That way the car will be cleaned up ready for sale and won't cost you a thing, explain how yours is mangled and your looking for a replacement. Leave your car/keys there as deposit.

Failing that beg and offer to give him a few quid. There is a black WRX Blob in Barry for sale and the dealer is helpful as my old dear bought a Merc off him.

Maybe best not to turn up in the best man suit to test drive it though, a quick superman change should do the trick!

I may try that Dease if it comes to it. I did used to deal with CVC in Cardiff when I used to live in the Rhondda so there's hope. Thanks for the suggestion m8

Sorry to hear about the car mate, bet the deer wasnt too happy either!

Would love to help out myself but as a lot have already said, im at Japfest too. Your mate doesnt want to change the date of the wedding does he, you can have a convoy of Scoobs then

Jokes aside, im sure someone will help you out, im yet to see someone not get what they are after, good luck

I would just like to thank Scooby401 for his help on the day.

Role model guy and his car is a dream. You made the groom a very happy chap.

Thanks to all that posted.
