Default Amp power cable

Considering fitting some ICE to my 95 WRX but am struggling to find a spare grommet in the firewall for the amp power cable, does anyone know if there is a cheeky hole/grommet that is hidden away somewhere or is it a case of drilling a new one myself?

Cheers

Default power cable

hello mate. the only way i could find to get my power cable from the battery to the boot was : MAKE SURE YOU GET THE CABLE THE RIGHT WAY ROUND TO START! then i fed the cable through the inside of the left wing as this is closest to the battery. then i had to feed it through the little grommet that is on the side of the glove box. you can only see this when the passenger door is open. then its completely up to you where you go from there. i took the glove box out and then fed it behind a support bar and then under the carpet but its down to your preference. you will see about 4-5 inches of cable when the passenger door is open but i sorted that with a piece of silver tape to match my car. i didn't want to mess with drilling, so i chose this way. make sure you leave enough cable to connect to the battery before feeding it to the back as it is really difficult to pull it back again. i have had no problems with mine whatsoever. hope this helps mate.

Cheers for your help buddy but i don't fancy running the power cable effectively on the outside of the car, i used to fit systems and am quite competent doing so, your system will run fine, but over time opening and closing the doors may cause the cable's outer casing to split/fray and if the bare wire touch ones of the metal parts of the bodywork you'll certainly know about it! Don't want to sound rude and i do appreciate your time in replying but do be careful!

That's why you fit the main fuse as close to the battery as possible....

P.S. On mine, (New-age) there's a grommet near the servo !
