Default Dark grey metallic scoob - which products?

ok so I need to start to take care of my new scoob.

The colour is dark grey metallic, 08 sti, paint code 61K.

I've looked at the sticky on darker metallic colours, I guess that advice might still hold, although it is quite old

Any ideas or updates from PB?

Many thanks

The advice still holds to a large extent, but our most recent thoughts about what to use and why on metallic greys can be found on these two links...

I can't tell from your avatar whether yours in mid-tone or darker, so please browse the above links and plump for the look you like best!

Scoo8ymad - thanks for the advice, very helpful to a newbie like me

PB - the car is more mid tone than very dark - lighter than the Golf in your FAQ link. So I'll go for the acrylic kit - thanks for your help!

Will post some pics as soon as it'e done!
