2008 sti flat battery

Default 2008 sti flat battery

woke up this morning to find my battery as flat as a witchs tit....phoned subaru assistance who sent a nice chap who came and started the car, he told me that when im driving i need to be using either my lights...air con, or something electrical otherwise the battery dosent charge when driving

is this right ?

Yes iv'e had this problem on a 08 S GT, & told to run with something switched on, i asked what the fuel pump ran on , gas i thought, but no it does run on electric, so how much current does the alternater want to sense to charge the battery.
I have traced my flat battery troubles to an incorrectly programmed alarm, which was always sensing the ultra sonics in the car & not going to sleep after the pre set time, now reset i have had no more trouble, plus if i wanted to run around with my lights on i would of bought a Volvo.

Don't u guys drive with the stereo on then? shouldnt that solve the problem?
