Default service schedule on a classcic

Sorry if this sounds a silly question....... How would you continue to service a UK 1998 Subaru impreza. The car has full Subaru service history and has covered 94,000 miles. The car has been serviced to the correct, official Subaru schedule in term of time/mileage.

The question is.... Would you continue to maintain the service schedule, in terms of time and mileage or do classic owners service their cars, now they are older to a different schedule e.g every 12 months/ 10,000 miles.

sorry if this is a really sill question and thanks for your help.

I'd stick with 6 month/ 7.5 k oil change. After all, its reached 94 k being looked after like that. I'd go independant too Bob

Stick with the 6 month/7.5k servicing as above the 6 monthly is only an oil change anyway so not exactly expensive

Let's face it, cars don't get more reliable the older they get, so stick to the service plan, but just don't use a Subaru Dealer!

lets face it, if its a bog standard car its worth about 1500 (about the same as mine)

I change my oil/filter every 4k (takes no more than 15 mins, start to finish)

the other service items like plugs/filters you can do yourself easily, as and when

the cambelt I would get done at an independent (which I am next week)

but tbh a bill much over £800.00 could well right the car of -- worth more breaking it
