Default Zymol/Race Glaze vs Poorboy's

Looking to get a pot of mid range carnauba wax to replace an old pot of Wax Wizard.

Zymol and Race Glaze are £50 ish and the Poorboys Natty Paste is £15 ish.

The finishes from all 3 look pretty similar judging by various internet picture galleries I've seen.

Are the more expensive ones worth the extra dosh?

Which is peoples favorite?

I've been using poorboys, smells like bubblegum, gives an awesome finish, but dodo juice is better, if it is more expensive. purple haze is the best for dark cars.

On a blue Scooby? If so, Blackfire Midnight Sun... far more reflective than the waxes mentioned above, yet just as wet looking.

Hi PB - is the Midnight Sun a soft or a hard wax? I want something hard as I tend to over apply soft stuff and also hard stuff stays on longer between applications. Is MS OK on plastic trim? I was thinking of the DoDo Juice Blue Velvet ortherwise. It is actually for a metallic black BMW.

It actually sits between the hard and soft categories, due to it's high polymer content - so nowhere near as soft as the likes of P21S Carnauba Wax, etc, and nowhere hear as hard as some of the Dodo waxes. It is the same polymer content that makes it amazing on dark metallics... the wax content gives the expected wet looking gloss, but the polymer content brings the flake alive and adds bags of reflectivity. This picture sums it up perfectly...
