As some of you may know I traded in my silver 01 WRX in for a new euro 09 STI last week.
Just found it on another garages website up for £3000 for than I got

do u actually think they'll get that for it? i'd laugh in there face at thinking i would be stupid enough to think that was a good deal if i was at there forecourt.

The OP was happy with the deal he achieved, that's fair.

The Dealer here is trying to get a massive profit, you cannot deny him the chance of that?

Luckily we live in a free country and can make our own choices and live by what comes by them.

I know how annoying it must be, but - if you could have got a better price private you would have sold private, surely?

It looks like it has some nice parts on it - STI wheels and intercooler, STI interior, spoiler, exhaust etc. It would have been worth removing the nice bits and selling them separately, and you would probably have got the same trade in value.

 

I sold all the original parts as I went along.
