Default Wireless Networking, can anyone help?

I've got a BT voyager 2100 hub and three computers that are wireless connected to it for the internet which works fine, but i'd like to be able to connect two of the computers together for playing games, not spectacular high end stuff, the games we want to play are actually quite old, but i'm at a loss as to how to get this to work. The windows home network thing doesn't seem to work, i can call up the IP addresses for all the comps on the bt menu, but they can't ping each other...

Seems it should be possible, but i don't know how to do it, any advice greatly appreciated!

The two computers i want to connect run XP pro and windows 2000 pro
