As titled, my acceleration pedal is a little loose and making creaking noise when I put my foot down slowly.

I couldn't see any screws so is there anyone can tell me how to tighten it?


p.s. It's the OEM pedal of a MY04 JDM STi.

Lol, mines been 'creaking' for a while now and I've had a look, even sprayed some grease over the pivot, but it's still there..

It's not loose however..!

Take lower dash cover off (two screws and a plastic pop screw) and get your head down there. Let me know if you sort the creak/squeak..

 

just to add mine also creaks but it does get annoying sometimes when i have no music on

 

Mine creaks too, thats what the + button on the stereo's for.
Nothing loose just the return spring creaking wouldn't worry about it seems a
common fault.

 

I thought the creaking noise is from the pedal..

Just realize it's the return spring..a lot more hassle to fix though..
