Torque/Power curve - JDM STI V3 saloon
Hi to all,
Does anyone have access to a torqe/power curve for the EJ20K DW6PR engine, either standard or lightly modded? I can't find one.
The reason I ask is that it in my car it feels like the peak power is reached by around 5,000rpm, but I expected it to be alot closer to the redline. All of my previous cars have been NA and the peak power has generally been at higher rpms, I suppose because the torque curve is flatter across most of the rev range. Is the drop off in torque at high rpm a characteristic of turbocharged engines in general?
