yer thats a good choice but if u aint driveing the car hard any dics and pads will do the job fine its only when u get the brakes hot that u need really good ones the problem with doing such low mileage is corrosion on the discs so when u do use the car try to use the brakes as much as possile to give them a good clean . there is a group buy of k sport 8 pots on at the mo if u wanna fill your wheels

i own a p1 and have similar issues ... i do similar mileage anually and found standard 4 pots fade especially when stopping hard from high speed.

I bought black diamond combi discs ... front set warped within 3000 miles (bearing in mind i've never warped any discs in my life and owned the p1 for 3years on standard discs before changing. I thought they must have been a dodgy set so they were exchanged for new ones. 3000 miles in and they felt warped again. Im still on this set 2 years on as they fixed themselves ... i know it sounds strange and it baffled me but they are fine now. I would say that im now thinking that it was all the corrosion from not driving her much and the pads getting contaminted that was causing a slight wobble effect when braking.

Ferodo ds2500 pads are highly recomended over on p1woc. I've got a set im waiting to fit along with goodridge stainless steel hoses and uprated brake fluid. Personally i think the standard 4 pots suffer from over heating when used hard hence better pads, lines and fluid should help i hope.

Bought my ferodos from alyn at asperformance ... top man!

Anyway at first i was unhappy with the black diamonds but now they are fine.
