Default Brake upgrade 2 or 4 wheels?

I've go a couple of questions here:-

I'm looking at upgrading my brakes very soon, I've been looking around to see who produces the best kit with the most stopping power at affordable prices. So far I have learnt that AP do good brakes but you have to pay for them too! Anyone know which brand and which supplier to go for?

Also do you have to upgrade all 4 wheels or do you just upgrade the front brakes, most of the kits I have seen are for the front wheels so I presume that you just upgrade the ront wheels?

Cheers

If you can't stretch to APs, then Newage STi brembo's work well on classics, especially if you get the full FR and RR kit. Will perform well as the car is much lighter than the STi they came from. Have to check your wheels will fit over them though.

The K sport 8pot kit is supposed to be awesome.
Them on the front and some decent pads on the back should improve your braking no end.

Do a search for K sport brakes they've had phenominal reviews and Paul from Zen switched from Stoptech, to K sport for his Time attack car. That, for me, speaks volumes as to just how good they really are.

EDIT I've just clocked the K sport Banner at the top.

There is your answer fella

Cheers do you know of any good suppliers for these brakes, £2k is a little steep for brakes, although stoppin quick can be less costly lol

Cool

I got hold of some second hand Brembos and currently have just the fronts on, this made a massive difference, I had got used to them and drove a friends standard wrx the other day - they felt horrid and basically felt like they didnt work!

Im going to get round to fitting the rears to as I have these but Ive been told i wont notice as big a difference as most breaking is done at the front.

Ive not experienced ksports/ap etc but for £500 for 4x calipers/discs/pads i dont think you can much better upgrade for the money...

just my thoughts!

For bang for buck it has to be the Brembo's as suggested above.
Most go for a newage STI alloy wheels aswell as the Brembo's are quite bulky and few standard classic alloys fit over them.

I've just fitted the Prodrive Alcons on mine but they are like hens teeth.
