can anyone help....
i have a my1999 uk turbo and the other day whilst undertaking some spirited driving, i couldn't put the car in 1st at all and then tried putting it in 2nd it jumped out as soon as i tried to accelerate, i have now taken gearbox out and was wondering if anyone had any ideas what could be causing the problems or would it be easier to just replace it

Any noises from the gearbox when you tried to change gear?

could be worn syncro, you would have to have someone have a look at it to determine what has happend im affraid
